  • INSTRUCTION FOR USE

    SURFACE PREPARATION

    The concrete surface to receive the MASTERPAV EPICPAV Pebbles shall preferably by mechanical scrabbling to achieve a concrete surface profile (CSP) 3 – 5 as recommended by ICRI. The concrete surface shall be thoroughly clean and free from any debris or dust with a high-pressure cleaning or vacuum machine.


    SURFACE PRIMING

    Apply 1 coat of MASTERPAV EP100 Resin Primer to the substrate for better adhesion between the screed materials and the MASTERPAV EPICPAV Pebbles.


    MIXING PROCESS

    Add the entire content of Part B into Part A container and mix till homogenous. 

    Add 19kg pebbles to the mixture and blend them until homogenous.


    APPLICATION

    Installation of MASTERPAV EPICPAV Pebbles by using a non-rusty trowel. Properly compact the pebbles during installation to avoid uneven finishing. Screen any high spots until smooth and even. If the pebbles stuck to the trowel, wet the trowel with a bit of MASTERPAV Thinner 101. Special attention must be taken to ensure mixed materials are poured out from the container as soon as after mixed to prevent excessive heating during the chemical reaction within the container. 


    TOPCOAT FINISHING

    MASTERPAV EPICPAV Pebbles can be top coated with 1-2 coats of MASTERPAV PU Top Coat PUC600 or MASTERPAV Epoxy Sealer EC10 by using a brush or roller.


    PRECAUTION DURING & AFTER INSTALLATION 

    1. Do not leave the work half done. Application work must be done from one panel to another panel.

    2. Properly compact the pebbles binder during the installation to avoid uneven finishing after cure.

    3. Be sure to protect the finished work after application of pebbles and avoid being wet by rain, especially during the curing stage. 

    4. Protect finish work to prevent dust before application of top coat.
