COLOUR PEBBLES AQUATIC SYSTEM

SURFACE PREPARATION

Remove any particles of dirt, grease and grime from an existing wall. Remove any loose paint from the wall. Glossy and semi gloss paint should be sanded to dull the surface before application of primer. If there is any loose paint on the wall, this will affect the adhesion of pebbles coating on the substrates. Ensure the new dry wall should be free of contaminants such as dust, dirt and mildew. Joints and sparkled areas should be thoroughly cured and sanded smooth. Check & ensure that the wall or floor is levelled. The surface should be touch up by re-plastering and let cure if there is any unevenness observed.

PRIMER - MASTERPAV Aquatic Primer AQ100

Before priming, ensure the wall is flat, clean, dry and sound. Ensure the primer is applied only when the moisture reading is less than 15 after checking by mean of moisture meter. Apply AQ100 evenly over the clean and dry surface with a roller or a brush.

APPLICATION - MASTERPAV Aquatic Binder AQ900

Mix the pebbles with MASTERPAV Aquatic Binder AQ900 and drill the materials till it becomes homogeneous.

Install MASTERPAV Aquatic Pebbles at an approximate 2 – 2.2 sq. meter per set by using a non rusty trowel. Properly compact the pebbles during installation to avoid uneven finishing. Leave it to completely dry. Screen any high spots until smooth and even.

SEALER APPLICATION

Allow the system to set and dry (normally in 24 hours) & apply additional a coat of MASTERPAV Acrylic Sealer by roller or brush. After sealing it is recommended that the sealer surface shall be protected from traffic.
