MASTERPAV SX115 PENETRATING SEALER

MASTERPAV SX115 is a non-filming deep penetrating solvent-based silane-siloxane water-repellent sealer. It is specially formulated to be clear, breathable, and water-repelling to protect concrete and masonry against the damaging effects of water intrusion.

  • INSTRUCTION TO USE

    1) SURFACE PREPARATION 

    • The concrete surface to receive MASTERPAV SX115 must be clean, dry and free from all contaminants (paints, glues, acrylic sealers, curing agents, efflorescence, chemical contaminants, rust, algae) that could disrupt proper sealer penetration. 


    • Existing coating/paint should be removed by light-grinding the surfaces. 


    • All cracks are to be rectify before actual application. 


    • New concrete shall be allowed to cure for at least 28 days before application of sealer. 


    2) MASTERPAV SX115 

    • MASTERPAV SX115 can be applied by low pressure pump sprayer, roller or brush. 


    • Ensure a sufficient material (1.6m2/L/coat) is applied evenly over the entire surface to ensure the sealer maximum penetration depth. It is recommended to apply two (2) coats. 


    • Allow the first coat to fully absorbed into the substrate and no longer shiny before applying the second coat (wet to wet application). 


    • In the event that ponding happens, spread the extra material evenly across the surface using a roller before it dries and forms a film. 


    • Do not apply sealer when rain is expected in the next 4-6 hours after application.
